So this last weekend I learned how to can. I managed to can 13 jars of pears. They look pretty good and it was easier than I thought.

- About me, or us I should say. We were married October 20, 2001. We left California and came to Oregon in 2003. In 2004 our first little girl was born, Elizabeth. Then two years later came Ashley on October 28, 2006.

My grandchildren are the cutest little darlings! Makes your blog look great!
I just learned how to can in the spring myself and you're right, it's totally not as hard as it looks! You should can some of your tomatoes if you got a good crop this year. We didn't get many this year :( I was hoping to make a batch of salsa and can it for the winter but doesn't look like it will happen this year :(
